Telecommunication giant, MTN, has donated an amount of Ten Thousand Ghana cedis towards this year’s Dumba Celebrations in Wa.
In a brief ceremony attended by chiefs and leaders of the Waala Clan in the Upper West Region, the Regional Manager of MTN Ghana, Seth Owusu, said it is an honour to be doing the presentation on behalf of his organisation.
We trust that our relationship, which has existed over the years, will be deepened further as we continue to associate ourselves with the Wa Traditional Council
Seth added that MTN places special importance on festivals in the country, as they reveal a lot about Ghanaian society and its rich cultural heritage.
He, however, trusted that the existing relationship of the service provider in the area would continue to enjoy a peaceful association, while they have set up experience centres to provide customers with an enhanced customer experience during the festival.
“We trust that our relationship, which has existed over the years, will be deepened further as we continue to associate ourselves with the Wa Traditional Council”, he added
They, however, presented an additional one thousand Ghana Cedis airtime, and assorted drinks to the chairman of the Dumba Planning Committee in the presence of other subchiefs and staff of MTN Ghana.
Kpaalamuna Naa Ibrahim Saaka thanked the network group for the massive donation to this year’s Dumba celebrations and promised to put it to good use
