It was a day of joy and gratitude last Friday, 10th July 2026, for the people of Tabiasi, a community in the Wa Municipality, as the Hikma Foundation arrived with a vehicle fully loaded with sacks of quality used clothing for the residents.
The philanthropic initiative was spearheaded and fully facilitated by the foundation’s leadership under Mr Seidu Bhomanjo. According to the foundation, the gesture is part of a broader mission to expand its humanitarian outreach to impoverished and underserved communities across the Upper West Region.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr Bhomanjo highlighted that the donation was made possible through the generosity of Mr Yaya Kuti Brown from Germany. He emphasised that while people may have means, the compassionate intent behind the gesture remains paramount.
“We decided as the Hikma Foundation to bring these items to Tabiasi to support the people,” Mr Bhomanjo stated, acknowledging the ongoing efforts of the organisation to identify those in need and provide timely relief.
Receiving the items on behalf of the community, the Chief of Tabiasi expressed deep gratitude to the Hikma Foundation and Mr Yaya Kuti Brown for remembering his people and extending a helping hand.
To conclude the ceremony, Liman Yakubu, the Chief Imam of the Tabiasi Masjid, offered fervent prayers for the benefactors, invoking blessings of protection, success, and long-lasting prosperity for the foundation and its team.
