The Sangu Delle Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to improving healthcare access for the most vulnerable in Nandom.
On Monday, October 20, 2025, Mr Baghr Francis, Executive Director of the Foundation, presented a cheque of GHS 5,000 to St. Theresa’s Hospital in Nandom under the Sangu Delle Patient Support Fund.
his timely intervention will enhance our capacity to provide essential healthcare services to the community. We hope this partnership continues to grow, helping more residents access the care they deserve
The cheque was received on behalf of the hospital by Mr Raphael Bakura, Matron, and Dr Padmore, Senior Medical Officer.
This is the second donation from the Foundation in just over three months, following an initial cheque of GHS 5,000 presented to the hospital in July 2025.
The earlier donation was built on a vision initiated in May 2025 when Dr Sangu Delle visited St. Theresa’s Hospital to discuss strategies for improving healthcare access for patients facing financial challenges.
Speaking at the presentation, Mr Francis emphasised the Foundation’s commitment: “We believe that no one should be denied healthcare due to financial hardship. This is one more step in building the Nandom we deserve—a healthier, more compassionate, and inclusive community.”
Expressing gratitude on behalf of the hospital, Ms. Raphael Bakura said: “We are deeply thankful to the Sangu Delle Foundation for this generous support. These funds will go a long way in assisting patients who cannot afford their medical bills, especially those in critical need.”
Dr Padmore added, “This timely intervention will enhance our capacity to provide essential healthcare services to the community. We hope this partnership continues to grow, helping more residents access the care they deserve.”
