Yesterday, Upper West’s leading mattress sales outlet, dakuleda.com, presented an 8-inch double mattress to Madam, Francisca Egayelle, to a hearty reception in the community.
Madam Francisca, a native of Dapuori Kpaanyaga, recounting her ordeal, said she returned home one rainy evening to the destruction. She said strong winds during the rain destroyed their place of abode.
She also describes that one afternoon, after going to harvest groundnut sat idle in front of her house, “when a car drove past me into the share tress and reversed back to stop at my house” “I was surprised to see it reversing back in such manner”.

She further explained that one of them confronted her about her roofing and asked how long she had been in that situation, to which she responded, “At the time of the destruction, farmers had not sown seeds on the farms”.
Romanus Kuunsana, Unit Committee Secretary in the community, expressed gratitude to God for sending benevolent people their way and also to the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies’ Practical Training Program and the Daughters of Upper West for the intervention.
The Unit Committee Secretary also assured that the community would help protect Madam Francisca from anyone who may want to take advantage of the gift received. “You have come to help her situation for us; we will come check on her regularly,” he added.

Madam Asana Mahama and Hajia Gladies, who represented the daughters of Upper West, expressed delight to dakuleda dot com for the timely interventions on such a level of comfort.
Madam Asana, while addressing the media, said their attention was drawn to the situation of the PTP visit to the community, and the Daughters of Upper West stepped in to roof, plaster and paint the room to rehouse the woman.
